Australia has some of the most diverse and unique animals on the planet. Our continent's isolation from the rest of the world has allowed our animals to evolve and adapt to our harsh environment in relative security. As a result, our fauna is highly sensitive to the effects of introduced animals, which are more competitive and quicker to adapt to new conditions.

The Society is dedicated to the protection and preservation of our native animals, which are under threat from the activities of man and in competition with introduced feral species.
