The Fraser Coast Branch is frequently involved in activities with schoolchildren, regularly has guest speakers, runs workshops and members work at two revegetation sites.
The branch has recently concluded a Caring for our Country project to set up a coral bleachwatch program in Hervey Bay. The activity is still being carried on in a voluntary capacity by some members with the assistance of members of DERM.
