The Toowoomba Branch is a hands-on active branch that is involved in the community and makes a point of working with other local organisations.
The Branch focuses on supporting the work of wildlife carers by providing food supplies and developing relocatable aviaries and a large flight aviary to help rehabilitate larger birds back to the wild. It also runs information days with live animals as part of local community events.
The Branch works to support threatened species, for example establishing and maintaining local koala habitats and vegetation
rehabilitation days. A Branch project that raises funds is the propagation and sale of native seedlings.
