The Brisbane branch advocates conservation through a diverse educational program including expert speakers, Batty Boat Cruises and an informative newsletter. Areas of special interest include Brisbane River (catchment to outfall) and Moreton Island. Branch members also organise regular weekend and day trips to wild places in and around Brisbane. The branch is represented on the Brisbane City Council Biodiversity Advisory Committee, on which it holds the position of Chair.

Branch members have expertise on a wide range of conservation issues ranging from ecological and other scientific resources to broad campaigning experience.

More information about Brisbane Branch and its activities can be found in the branch newsletter or by contacting the Secretary.
